Top Sun’s CEO, Jason Leitch, honed his expertise managing over $20M in annual sales volume, mastering every detail from analyzing manufacturing throughput and waste reduction trials to cost management, scaling sales, and driving operational efficiency.

That meticulous approach transitioned seamlessly to the solar industry. After leaving manufacturing to embrace clean energy, Jason quickly earned accolades as Salesperson of the Year at one of the 5 largest national installers in the U.S.. There, he developed innovative tools that added immense value to his colleagues and clients. When the Covid-19 pandemic led to the company's closure, Jason launched his own independent national solar brokerage serving clients across the U.S..

Through his work, Jason deepened his understanding of the consumer-utility relationship and recognized a troubling truth: If solar companies did better at using end-user data, and focused more on the data driven results of solar system sizing to helped people make the best choices, for themselves -then public support for solar would be far stronger in the fight against profit-driven utilities. Instead most solar companies hire clever, "hungry" profit-driven sales consultants more interested in "signing the deal" than delivering people and their realtors long-term results on a permitted essential fixture with a long-term use purpose. This realization inspired him to develop a tool specific to end-users energy needs to shield consumers from the predatory practices that linger throughout the solar sales industry.
